My name is Evaline. I am a student who can roughly be described as a wellness enthusiast. I’m here to blog about my own experiences in finding my path to eudaimonia, beta-testing upcoming wellness trends, sharing inspiring stories, and providing evidence-based, factual information about health, psychology, and movement. I will primarily be categorizing this work in four different subsets of wellness- intellectual, physical, emotional, and “spiritual”.

Note: My approach to talking about spirituality is my unique perspective, and I will speak broadly to what is considered “spiritual” in society including the many different beliefs coming from cultures around the globe. The key here is what is spiritual for the individual, and I will be keeping content non-dogmatic.

You may be wondering.. what the @%#$ is “Eudaimonia”?
eu·dae·mo·nia | \ ˌyüdēˈmōnēə \
variants: or less commonly eudaimonia \ -ˌdīˈ- -(ˌ)dāˈ- \
plural -s
1: Well being, happiness
2: Aristotelianism: a life of activity governed by reason
The ancient word was popularized by Aristotle and Plato – hence the greek roots and unique pronunciation. Eudaimonia is not just happiness, it is a state of contented overall flourishing. They needed a word better than happiness, better than exuberant joy. Happiness is fleeting, but eudaimonia is a state of being.
Why am I doing this, you ask?

I want to help others create their unique path to ultimate happiness in their life. I believe it is our birthright to align our bodies, minds, and spirits to live our most fulfilled lives. This is a body-positive, sex-positive, everyone inclusive, judgment-free collection of texts to be written as love letters to myself and humanity at large.

My ultimate goal in life is to help the livelihoods of others be reached in an accessible way.

What better way to do that right now than access potential billions of people online? After all, we do live in the age of information, and my words could end up on the screens of anyone across the entire world. I hope to be of a  resource through the information I have learned and committed to continue learning. I also hope to build a long-lasting community and friendship through this platform.

Here are a few of my fields of expertise, and why I chose to write on this topic specifically:
